The Glass Cabinet

We have a glass cabinet in our hall way in it sit all kinds of "things" they are special because each tells a story. If I take a "thing" out it speaks to me in that place where only "I"and "they" are.

Thus I take if I take my dads box Brownie camera out he talks to me through the camera and it brings us to a special place.

If I take the snow castle from India out it takes me to where Alison and James were when they were a "New Item."

If I take my 21st card and key out I remember and speak to those who were there a lot of them gone now, they live on.

If I take...

As the Koori s  have their "dreaming" so must we, this is my  dreaming.

Late last year I left TNH and my many friends there we shared many things and in the last year fought a bitter industrial campaign with our employer. Like all who have experienced hard times and adversity against a powerful force we were bonded and marked. Many of us have moved on now and like  they say 'the only constant is change.' But one thing will always be remembered the people and the times we shared. Thank you TNH people love you and will never forget you.
A New Year but one not to be forgotten. Those who fought for the right and for their mates can hold their heads high. It's gone now but those times and those beautiful people at TNH Medical Imaging will forever be special. Love you and take care.
Ps. The watch goes with me every where just like the memories.
The new job is great challenging and interesting, the only thing missing is you!
I have started on my new novel the Fishing Club, it is about men.

These items above, today moved into the cabinet. (the watch will have to wait awhile).
