Every year we write a Christmas letter for all our family and friends who get Christmas cards this year I thought I would share it with you;

Dear Family and Friends,

THE KISS
BROTHER PETER AND I AT 60TH
FAMILY IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT
In our thirty eighth year of marriage we have managed to have another busy one full of family, activity and events, here are some highlights: We had a great family holiday at Anglesea in January (Point Road Knight) the weather was warm and the swimming and beach superb. Grandsons Denver and Josef started school in January and eldest grandson Terry; high school. April the 14th was an exciting time as John launched his book Kiss of the King Brown, with talks, openings and promotions it was amazing. (You can buy it at Amazon.com or the local book shop) John is working on a second in the series and another book called Daughters…In July /August we completed the renovation of our bedroom, we have been in 33 Simpson Street since 1991, just the laundry to do.On August the second John and twin Peter celebrated their sixtieth birthdays with family parties, a party in Kyneton at the Bowling club and one at Moon Bay in Brighton. It was a great family and happy time. In September John  travelled to Port Douglas with friend Will to fish, a wonderful trip, and great fish In October Maureen and John travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia for three plus weeks it was the trip of a lifetime fabulous people, spectacular scenery, different culture and fascinating history.We are occupied by family, work and community (John works part time at the Northern, Maureen part time at the Lodge) John’s hobbies of writing, fishing , music and  history and Maureen’s of books, gardening and grandchildren keep us travelling to many places and events.Our family are well: Katy nurse/midwife (The Northern and The Women’s) involved in Volunteer work in Kenya and travelling to new Guinea to visit her partner TK. Angela and Matt busy at Tylden with their five children (Terry, Ebonie, Hannah, Lily, Denver) Angy is a Doula and Matt an Arborist and Captain of Tylden Fire Brigade. Janice lives in Kyneton just down the road from us (with Josef and Marlee) and is nursing and doing care work. Alison and James are in Castlemaine thirty minutes away, Alison is teaching at St Mary’s Primary and James is at Castlemaine Bacon. We look forward to a Happy Christmas and New Year surrounded by family and friends and anticipate another happy and eventful  year ahead. Happy Christmas and Joyous times for you and your family.
