The Post Launch Blues

What Blues?
I hav'ne had any yet, the books have been going out like sausages on Australia Day. Lots of good reviews and comments. This thing is like a warm bath on a cold day, you never want to get out of it.
I love how people get different things out of the same words, it what makes writing so interesting. I have to write the next book!
I have started, I have to create time, I'm a bloody stubborn bastard. Here is part of the start.

The Wall of Green
.....Instinctively Sean moved forward in a crouch and crawling movement toward the firing and one section, Andersen followed behind. They moved from tree to tree, Whitey was not far away. The firing did not let up; he could hear the sections M60 throaty hammer bursts now. They crouched in a hollow peering over. The red flashes of the SLR’s were visible but the men firing them were not. Forward of them he could see movement, figures in green moving in the shadows of the trees. The muzzle flashes of weapons, the smoke of burning and the smell of napalm...

Poor Sean is in the firing line , I hope he survives it's through. Anyway time to move on.
